Energy Storage for Daly City

About the Project
Arevon is building an energy storage project in Daly City to support local energy reliability and maximize the use of clean, renewable energy sources like solar and wind. Arevon is leading the development of the Cormorant Project and other energy storage projects throughout California designed to efficiently store renewable energy that can be deployed back to the grid during peak energy usage periods.
California relies heavily on carbon-emitting fossil-fueled power resources to meet daily and peak energy needs. Battery storage is an essential component of grid reliability and resilience as California transitions away from fossil fuels and increasingly relies on renewables like wind and solar to achieve clean air and clean energy mandates.
